Project Information

Number: 15

Name: Big Five III

Administrator: Ralph Grove (groverf@jmu.edu)

Description: In contemporary psychology, the “Big Five” are five domains that broadly define human personality. They include openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. This project allows you to leverage one of the most popular Big Five inventories (John & Srivastava, 1999) to generate personality feedback in ways never before possible. You will complete the 44-item questionnaire from the perspectives of your real self and your ideal self. Then, you’ll have the opportunity to ask close friends, family, and colleagues to complete the survey based on how they perceive your personality. You will receive detailed feedback on every item and domain as well as the opportunity to take notes and set self-development goals.
